Good specs for gaming computer?
Is an HP pavilion a6560t desktop with an intel core 2 duo processor E8400 (3.0ghz), an eVGA e-GeForce 8800 GT 513MB DDR3 PCI-E 2.0 Graphics Card, 3 gigs of RAM, a 500 gig, 7200 rpm hard drive and Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 1 (64-bit) Good enough to play most games on relatively high settings?
More specifically, can it play Flight Simulator on high settings with a decent frame rate and can it play counter-strike and half-life on high, as well as newer RTSs and WiC?
BTW, This whole rig costs about $780. How good of a price is that?
You didn’t specify how much ram the computer itself has. You really want 3gigs if you want to run those games efficiantly. I would rather build my own quad core for that same price you are spending on that HP.
